With respect to “Climate Change”, this website and my contribution to the discussion focuses on the data. I have a standing request/challenge to anyone (scientist or not) to provide an empirical Temperature/CO2 data set that shows CO2 driving the climate on any statistically significant historical time scale. Scientific proof requires empirical data. The Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming (CAGW) theory does not have that empirical data (because that data does not exist).

Weakening Electromagnetic Field/Solar Winds

OPS-62 The Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming (CAGW) alarmist crowd has been known to occasionally ignore some data or take liberties with interpretation. I am not going to litigate those indiscretions in this discussion. This post will focus on the rather unusual weakening of both the earth’s electromagnetic field and the solar winds and their potential effects on “Climate Change”. Obviously, both of those parameters will change over time, but these changes are significant, and I suspect poorly understood by proponents at both ends of the climate change spectrum. Both these phenomena are very likely directly related to the magnetic reversal that we are currently experiencing. Both magnetic poles have been moving and accelerating steadily for decades. So, what might happen to the climate when our electromagnetic field and the solar winds drop to levels that have not been seen in millennia?

I suspect that the answer is not that simple. But what I do know is the answer will not be found in the simplistic, unscientific CO2 driven virtual reality world created by the IPCC computer modelers (those modelers who have self declared that their models run too hot (OPS-55 – The State of Climate Science)). The problem, both these phenomena are extremely important protectors of the planet, and they are not headed in a good direction. We are headed into a Grand Solar Minimum (GSM), so the declining solar winds (and subsequent lower temperatures) are not (and will not be) surprising. The difference this time is the magnetic reversal and the weakening electromagnetic field. As the electromagnetic field weakens, the planet becomes much more vulnerable to what the sun (solar flares, coronal mass ejections (CME), etc.) and space (cosmic/gamma rays, high energy particles, etc.) continuously throw at us. We may be “lucky” that the sun is headed into a quiet period (i.e.: a GSM), but strong flares or CMEs are still possible. The cold of a GSM will be deadly and dangerous, but there are worse fates that could befall us (OPPS-20 – Why are We Putting All Our Eggs in One Basket).

The truly scary potential is tied directly to the magnetic reversal. The endpoint to that magnetic reversal could be a solar micro-nova (which will be devastating to the entire planet). For those that want to explore that unpleasant subject you can go to suspicious0bservers.org for more information. Whether we get to the solar micro-nova stage or not, our weakening electromagnetic field will have much more profound negative, truly dangerous effects on our planet than the minor beneficial warming that CO2 might provide. Ultimately, we are facing far more serious issues than the supposed catastrophe that more CO2 emissions might lead to a century from now. We need to get through the next few decades and chasing fairy tale CO2 emission reductions is just wasting capital that we will need just to survive in the short term. Why are we still pursuing emission reduction policies that have no empirical data to back up their “science”? Policies that will reduce the temperature in 2100 by a measly 0.17 °C (at a cost of ±10 trillion dollars for every one hundredth of a degree). You do not have to be an economist to see the cost-benefit analysis shortfalls (stupidity) of NetZero, ESG, Green New Deals, etc.

  • But wanna input on few general things, The website design and style is perfect, the subject material is rattling great. “Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it.” by Andre Gide.
