Justin’s New Carbon Tax

OPPS-11 Here is a quick political hit to start the New Year. This post lays out a few of Justin’s more serious missteps and outright scandals. The post’s focus is the new carbon tax that Justin is foolishly pursuing. There is no mandate for that tax, there is no economic justification for that tax, there is no technical justification for that tax and there is no social justification for that tax. Canada is facing a huge COVID-19 induced financial crisis and Justin is determined to deepen the economic chasm. He is in full UN globalist mode, pushing the “Great Reset”, Agenda 21, 2030 Agenda, Climate Change, etc. to follow through on their virtual signaling, idiotalogical (not a typo) pet projects. Justin, just wondering if you have learned how to actually answer an important question (any question) over the holiday break. No, I did not think so.

Notwithstanding that there is no empirical data justifying the “Global Warming” narrative, we need to focus on cleaning up the severe fiscal mess that Justin et al have steered us into. Some of the blame rests on the response to COVID-19, but our Liberal Federal Government had already taken the off ramp to economic hardship. Delaying Canada’s green initiatives for ten years will make virtually no difference (certainly no measurable difference) in global temperatures in 2100 (using the IPCC’s science). More detail/justification was presented in OPPS-8 (Canadian Deficits – November Update) and OPPS-9 (Common Sense).

The citizens of this country need to wake up and put pressure on our political parties (all of them) to recognize the problems we are facing in our own back yard (unemployment, substance abuse, suicides, spousal abuse, debt levels, Western Separation, etc.). Fixing the world’s problems can wait until we have put ourselves in a better economic position to help.

Pushing the “Climate Change” agenda has been a huge drain on the economic growth of Canada (and the World). Pushing that still unproven agenda without fixing the economic fallout of COVID-19 is economic suicide, or more accurately, the premeditated destruction of our Western Societies. There will be equality, but as with all socialist/communist societies, there will be two levels of equality. The elite ruling class and the rest of us.
