PM-1 This world is getting more mixed up, messed up, screwed up, etc. with every passing day. My focus for many years has been speaking up against the dangers of the Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming (CAGW) alarmist crowd narrative (and the real danger from Climate Change – cooling). My original issue with CAGW was the completely unscientific premise for the overly aggressive green/renewable push. There is very simply, no empirical CO₂/Temperature dataset that shows CO₂ driving the climate on any statistically significant historical time scale. Please fact check that! Empirical data is an absolute scientific requirement to move a narrative (let alone an actual theory) from something akin to a religious belief to an accepted scientific principle. Anyone (scientist or not) could easily change my position by bringing new data forward. NASA does not have that data, NOAA does not have that data, no scientific/academic institutions on the planet have that data and I would hazard a guess that even God does not have that data. That data simply does not exist.

I have gone through the data from many different perspectives (all available on my website (climatechangeandmusic.com) with reputable links). I personally do not care what opinion is put forward by either side of the discussion. I focus on the data and the data shows that solar activity (either directly or indirectly (i.e.: ocean cycles, cosmic ray fluctuations, etc.)) is by far the most important climate driver. CO₂ has a role, but that role is minor at best, beneficial and generally hidden within the natural cycles.

But I am not making this post to defend my position on “Climate Change”. That defense has been presented in more than enough detail on my website. My bigger fears are rooted in society’s steady crawl towards socialism/Marxism/communism/totalitarianism. You can call it whatever you want but it is already here. Those fears are presented in this Political Music (PM-1) post. “Climate Change” has been the slow, steady and insidious front line of that socialist assault. The decades of propaganda (i.e.: brainwashing) have created a huge societal rift. Unfortunately, the unscientific methods used in “climate science” have been exported to many other scientific sectors with similar disastrous/division producing results.

The COVID-19 fiasco has caused a serious worldwide financial problem. The virus was a serious issue, but the real damage will come from the economic fallout directly attributable to the lockdowns. Our governments/politicians should be focussed on addressing that financial situation. They are not. In most cases they are doubling down, maintaining lockdowns, pushing for even more aggressive climate policies/spending including permanent “climate” lockdowns. The four-year Trump interruption put a serious crimp in their Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030 plans. The World Economic Forum’s “Great Reset” is the accelerant they are aggressively pushing to get that plan back on track. I personally do not remember voting for the WEF’s Davos elite. Yet they seem to feel they have the right to dictate how everyone on this planet should live. You do not have to imagine what life would be like under the UN’s one world, unelected, unaccountable, corrupt, totalitarian government. You are living “their” dream already and they will just keep layering on more and more drastic totalitarian policies. If you let them. Unfortunately, the cheerleaders-in-chief in both the US and Canada are full-on UN/Chinese advocates. We have our work cut out for us. The COVID viruses do not scare me anymore than an AIDS or aggressive flu virus. Life has always been full of high-risk decisions that humans have been making for millennia (and somehow, we survive and thrive (primarily through our dependence on fossil fuels)). Lockdowns are an unnecessary government imposition that is causing serious and long-term problems for society.

My primary approach has been data based (i.e.: science), but I have also dabbled in the artistic/feelings side of the argument in the hopes that I might reach those with more liberal values. I am not a good musician; I am not a good vocalist, but I can put my feelings/opinions down in lyrics. How could anyone on the left possibly ignore my feelings?
