California Fires – September 2020
OPS-33 California Fires – September 2020
To start with, I would like to wish everyone a Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving!
So, was California’s 2020 Fire Season a bad one? Absolutely, but despite the record burn acreage (4,040,935 acres, as of October 9th, 2020), there is still no correlation with CO2 induced “Climate Change”. Last year (2019), the burn acreage topped out at 259,823 acres. Was CO2 responsible for the 259,823 acres burned in 2019 or the 4,040,935 acres burned this year? In the real world, the CAGW alarmist crowd cannot have it both ways. Unfortunately, in the mainstream media world they can practice their hypocrisy at will. The empirical data does not back up any connection between California’s fire situation and rising CO2 levels. Not surprising since there is no empirical CO2/Temperature data that shows CO2 driving the climate on any statistically significant historical time scale. As I may have mentioned before!
