The Earth Is Greening – Why?

PSS-3 This Political Short Story (PSS) focuses on the question above. The answer is simple, yet terrifying to the Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming (CAGW) alarmist community. Fair notice (despite the abundant data), this is a political post and represents some of my views on the state of the world as it relates to “climate change”. Any opinions are mine and mine alone. Those opinions have been formed by reviewing the empirical data and not relying solely on commentary from anywhere along the “climate change” discussion spectrum.

Our idiotological world leaders appear to be carrying out the various agendas laid out by the UN and/or the WEF and are definitely not greening the planet. They are wasting copious amounts of capital and aggravating already serious financial, energy, food, and supply chain crises, unnecessarily. Sadly, the CAGW “Climate Change” narrative is largely responsible for those crises. Trillions of dollars have already been wasted on so-called “green” initiatives that have done virtually nothing to lower global temperatures. Not surprising, given that another 150 trillion dollars (give or take) will only reduce temperatures in 2100 by 0.17 °C (if all the Paris Accord signatories adhere to their promises and the IPCC “science” is correct, OPS-17 – Paris Accord 2015). Neither the promises nor “the science” will pan out (in my opinion).

Today’s higher interest and inflation rates, on the other hand, are a direct result of runaway government spending (a very significant portion of which is related to “climate change” policy). Our current “leaders’” solution, double down on expensive, uneconomic, environmentally challenging, and unnecessary renewable energy projects and throw in some wishful thinking on hydrogen, CCUS and other NetZero fantasies. But more/accelerated wasteful spending will not cure inflation or bring interest rates back down, it will just compound the problem. So, how do we fix the problem? First, we must stop electing representatives from the WEF and UN to run our countries. Then we must bring real science into our policy decisions. The path we are on will (in my opinion) lead us to economic suicide, a complete collapse of our standard of living and decades of totalitarian rule.

Aggressive/Excessive spending on “green initiatives” will not produce a better world for our children and grandchildren. Their futures have been, are being and will ultimately be destroyed long before any minor, imagined temperature reductions could ever be achieved. Our idiotological political policies are destroying their future, not climate. The “fact checkers” can “easily” prove me wrong by providing one empirical CO₂/Temperature dataset (a basic Scientific Method requirement) that shows CO₂ driving the climate on any statistically significant historical time scale.

Spoiler Alert: the answer to the initial question….. CO₂ (which is literally greening our planet).
